BOONORO: A Digital Marketing Plan in Taiwan for a Food Startup from Indonesia

In 2023, I was delighted to collaborate with the dynamic and visionary female entrepreneur, Rika. Boonoro is a natural food brand from Indonesia, primarily offering natural bird's nest supplements and organic coffee sourced from Indonesia. Due to cultural differences, the brand needed to make localized adjustments for the Taiwanese market.


Digital Marketing Strategy

Initially, we focused on defining the brand's values and identity. The team positioned Boonoro as a symbol of health, emphasizing its natural and organic products from Indonesia. In the second phase, we tailored Boonoro's social media presence, regularly sharing knowledge about consuming bird's nest and promoting holiday sales to attract potential customers and establish a solid social media foundation.


After growing our following from zero to 900, the third phase involved upgrading the official website. Being from Taiwan, I understood the preferences and requirements of Taiwanese users for websites. The project involved structuring the website, enriching product information content, and redesigning the website style. Thanks to the strong establishment of its brand image, Boonoro has gained a stable customer base and enjoys a favorable brand reputation in the Taiwanese market. Currently, the team is seeking partners for product image photography to enhance the visual marketing impact. The outcome of the project is not just completing a task; it represents the fulfillment of a female entrepreneur's dream.
